Our Dentists

Dr. Lindsay Yaworsky

General Dentist/Owner

Dr. Lindsay Yaworsky began her dental career in 2009 after graduating from the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Yaworsky was born in Yorkton, grew up on a family farm near Dropmore, Manitoba, and went to school in Roblin Manitoba before moving to Saskatoon for her post-secondary education.

Before entering the College of Dentistry, Dr. Yaworsky completed a bachelor of science in biochemistry with honours.

In 2010, Dr. Yaworsky joined Dr. Fuchs as an associate in his long-standing practice. She is ever grateful for his mentorship and support. In 2013, she became a partner in the practice. Dr. Yaworsky admires Dr. Fuch’s ongoing commitment to the profession at a provincial, national, and international level.

Dr. Yaworsky enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a interest in implant and surgical procedures. She has attended implant continuing education courses, as well as surgery courses. She places implants in select cases and works alongside dental specialists in more complicated treatment plans. She is passionate about providing the best care for her patients and promoting total oral and systemic health.

When Dr. Yaworsky isn’t in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and her two boys: Finn, and Cullen. They enjoy travel, camping, kayaking, and anything that gets them outdoors!
Dr. Alyssa Weninger

General Dentist

Dr. Weninger is excited to return to her home province of Saskatchewan and join the Prairie Smiles Dental family! Although she is originally from Unity, SK she has had the opportunity to call many different areas of Canada home.

Balancing sport and education she began her undergraduate degree at the University of Saskatchewan. After studying for three consecutive years, she decided to leave her degree unfinished and relocate to Victoria, BC to pursue her athletic goals . She was invited to compete as a development athlete with Cycling Canada, and later transitioned to focus solely on the sport of rowing. She went on to complete her Degree in Kinesiology as a visiting student while competing with the University of Victoria Rowing Team. Upon completion of her degree, she accepted an invitation to train and compete full-time with the Senior Women’s National Rowing Program based in London, ON from 2012-2016.

After a full-filling athletic career Dr. Weninger returned her focus to academia and was accepted to the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017. After graduation she gratefully accepted a position as a dental resident at the Montreal General Hospital 2021-2022 and completed a 1-year Multidisciplinary General Practice Residency with McGill University. She is pleased to join Dr. Yaworsky and Dr. Fuchs at Prairie Smiles Dental to continue patient centered dental care.

When Dr. Weninger isn’t at the dental clinic, you can find her planning her next adventure. She enjoys travelling, adventures in nature, experiencing different cultures and many different avenues of fitness.
Dr. Kovie Luu

General Dentist

Kovie joins us from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan after studying BSc in Biology from the University of Regina he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in June 2024.

Kovie is a dedicated fitness enthusiast, and avid reader, and prioritizes spending time with his loved ones. He also enjoys travelling and playing the piano. Kovie is highly proficient and dedicated in piano performance and musical theory.

With a focus on patient-centred care, Kovie aims to foster a welcoming atmosphere at the dental clinic. His passion for dentistry shines through as he looks forward to providing 5-star care.
Dr. Katie Lockert

General Dentist

Hailing from Martensville, Saskatchewan, Dr. Lockert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Saskatchewan, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the College of Dentistry in June 2025.

Outside the office, Katie loves exploring nature on walks with her beloved dogs, cherishing time with family and friends, and embarking on travel adventures. With a commitment to patient-centered care, she strives to create a warm and welcoming environment at our dental practice. Dr. Lockert’s passion for dentistry and dedication to exceptional care will be a fantastic addition to our Yorkton community!
